3. What is your refund policy at Anaconda?

Refund Policy

Our refund policy has been designed to protect our customers and conforms to all Australian Consumer Laws. Please read our refund policy carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights and our obligations to you.

Products purchased at Anaconda can be returned to any Anaconda store, regardless of which Anaconda store it was originally purchased from.

Anaconda will accept product returns where:
  • The product is faulty through no fault of your own
  • The product is not fit for the purpose which goods of that kind are commonly bought
  • The product is not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff
  • The product does not match the sample or description
With proof of purchase (receipt, credit statement or invoice):
  • We will offer you an exchange voucher or refund
  • Refunds will be issued in the same form of tender as the original purchase transaction
Without proof of purchase (receipt, credit statement or invoice):
  • Anaconda reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund
Anaconda reserves the right to:
  • Assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to offering a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused; and/or
  • Refer the item to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair; and/or
  • Refuse exchanges and refunds if the product is not returned with all accessories and instruction manuals (these may be necessary to properly assess your claim).
Anaconda is not obligated to accept product returns where:
  • you have changed your mind
If the return products are in a saleable condition (original packaging, labels, instruction manuals included) we may decide, at our discretion, to accept change-of-mind product returns and we will:
  • only offer an exchange or gift voucher (no refunds);
  • only accept a product return for products currently on range at Anaconda;
  • only accept a product return within 28 days of purchase; and
  • only accept a product return with proof of purchase.
Identification required for refunds, returns and exchanges:
  • You will be asked for information that is relevant to your transaction.
  • When returning products with satisfactory proof of purchase, you will be asked for your signature as authorisation of the return transaction.
  • Without satisfactory proof of purchase, you will be asked to provide photo identification containing your full name, signature and expiration date, so that your name and signature can be verified.
  • Please note, when returning products totalling $1,000 or more, you will be asked for your signature as authorisation of the return transaction. Anaconda is also required to record your name, address and ABN (if you are registered for GST) in order to comply with GST legislation relating to Tax Adjustment Notes. This information may also be accessed by authorised Anaconda personnel for fraud investigations and fraud protection activities.
  • Information collected on returns slips will be securely stored for a reasonable period of time and may be used for the purposes of research and analysis and may be disclosed to government departments upon request or as otherwise required by law.
  • You may be asked for this information for the purposes listed above but it will not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Laws or Privacy Laws.

4. How does your LPG (Lowest Price Guarantee) work?*

“If you show us” - we will accept a signed quote, receipt, invoice, advertising or any other official document from a competitor to show their price is cheaper.

“Cheaper price” - the item must be cheaper, not the same price. “same” - the item must be the same in all ways (including freight charges).

“Stocked item” - We must have the item in stock and available for sale (i.e. no backorders) and our competitor must have it in stock and available for sale at the time of quoting.

No, Anaconda is privately-owned and we do not anticipate franchising the business model.

Yes, In the interest of customer safety, Anaconda is recalling 2 products sold in Anaconda’s Queensland stores in its Camp and Hike Department called “Dune 4WD Recovery Strap (9m) and Dune 4WD Recovery Kit”. Find out more about this recall
